Jenny and I were right -- Susan chose a pizza birthday dinner. It is hard to tell here who is enjoying her birthday sweet more ...
Our flight home early the next morning went smoothly and we were soon touching home ground at SeaTac Airport where Sarah and Jaydon met us and drove us home. After cleaning up a bit we then met the rest of the family for dinner at Red Robin. I have no photos to share, but Susan got her birthday ice cream and song which intrigued Jaydon who clapped for the singers.
To let you know the answer to an early pondering: Susan is very happy to have made the trip, but she says I have not created a monster, and she does not "need" to travel abroad in the future. So our trips together will most likely be domestic, and there are lots of places we have yet to explore on our turf. If I do any further travel abroad, I will choose to go with a tour company, or with someone who ropes me into a trip! Any takers?
I have learned to love doing a blog! So much so that I am starting a second one that will chronicle some of my/our less extensive "adventures" and I am calling it little wanderings-Nancy. If you have interest, please visit the site. The (perhaps only) disadvantage I can think of is that with the blog I don't get the comments and emails from you, my friends and family, that I got when I directly emailed (or tried to email) you. I missed those.
In the mean time -- we keep on going, and have just returned from a four day jaunt in Oregon where we found this beautiful trail to ride -- more in the new blog (soon). See you on our next adventure -- thanks for coming along, we love having you with us.
