HAPPY EASTER DAY ;'-)
Cindy decided to lead a club ride for Easter morning -- The Bunny Hop ;'-). And it was hilly without the hopping! It was a good day for a ride -- no rain!! And some sun. We had five of us show up and then Bill W met us at about the midpoint while he was on his own ride. So we used him to take our group photo.
I'm the one with the Bunny Ears. |
I rode more miles than the ride was routed to do as I biked to the start from home, then took a slightly longer route for the return to home. Cindy took us on some nice back streets of Everett. To some places many of us had not been to before. And I worked in Everett!

Across the street, these two were watching us |
As we continued on our way we met more hills. And these hills stayed with us for quite a little while. I was of course brining up the rear, but I made all of the hills and never lost sight of those ahead of me! We took a break at the veiw point where Bill W took our photo, and enjoyed some of the views at the waterfront.

Directly across the street from where we were standing is past Senator "Scoop" Jackson's house. It's not his house anymore as he died in 1983. He was apparently a very popular and well liked Senator. I don't know any of his history however.

There were no more stops after this one ------ just hills.
