A bad weather day at Yakima Canyon. Very high wind and some cold rain put a true damper on the day. Susan wisely opted to NOT float the river with Matt and Karl in their boat. Our alternative plan was to drive to Yakima, purchase a couple of supplies and have lunch. Susan called Jane, a friend from Casting for Rcovery and she told us of a good place for lunch and met us there for a brief time.
Afterwards we drove to the Yakima trailhead of the Greenway Trail. I rode a mile up the trail in swift wind and that cold cold rain before turning back. I at the least got on my saddle for the 7th ride of 30 for April. My hopeful plan is to ride this trail to Naches one of these days before we head home. Not sure when or how that will happen yet, but I will be working on it.
