APRIL
This is the month of 30 DAYS OF BIKING challenge. I have succeeded at this challenge a few times in the past, and will try to reach the goal this year.
Though I will be posting a photo each day on the Challenge site, the rides may be very short or repetitive of routes/photos I have already posted here. So not every ride in April might have a photo of the day for the blog posts here.

Was able to begin my 30 Days of Biking in April ;’-). Sneaked in a morning ride before continuing packing up for a one night campout coming up. It was a cold morning and clouds of course. After 60 degrees yesterday it was quite a drop to 43 this morning. I did my “ETAL” (Every Turn And Loop) route so got to see this month’s STUMP decoration for Easter.

Our first Rainbow ride in over a year. We were seven for this ride — Seven Rainbows Rode In Some Rain. No one dropped out of the ride because of rain! A little rain was not going to keep this hardy group from seeing and riding with each other after such a long long time of not.
We started in the drizzle from Bay View along the Padilla Bay trail.
Continuing on to Anacortes, we took the Tommy Thompson bridge, dodging all the clam shells dropped by the seagulls.
The bridge is about a mile long and leads us into and back from Anacortes.
Had our lunch at Dockside Dogs and food trucks that have joined the Dogs guy since we were last there. The sun joined us for our delightful outdoor fare.
Of course we had a rainbow photo at the community art project.
People add all kinds of stuff here. Whether or not it is art has no bearing.

Did an errand run to Bartell Drugs (where I always go for things other than drugs) and then made a stop to sip some tea, and a Bunny photo for Easter, at the outdoor table that reminds me of being somewhere like Paris ;’-). A girl can dream.
End of the first week of April with smiles and a good outlook.
